Stacy & BP were excited to adventure around Boston's historic Beacon Hill and lovely Boston Public Garden for their engagement session. They live south of the city but are getting married in Punta Cana next year in a destination wedding. So they wanted some photos closer to home for their engagement shoot. We started on Charles Street and explored the famous Acorn Street and Beacon Hill before crossing into the Public Garden for golden hour photos.
Part One: Beacon Hill & Acorn Street
We started in Boston's historic Beacon Hill neighborhood and visited the ever-popular Acorn Street. This street gets amazing light, has original cobblestones from the cow path that it used to be way back when, and touts ivy-covered brick buildings on both sides of the street. It's no surprise that it is the most photographed street in Boston! Stacy was a trooper in her heels and the effort paid off - these two lit up Acorn Street with their sweet snuggles! The best thing about Beacon Hill though is that everywhere you turn there are beautiful window boxes, gas-lamp street lights, and historic charm. Boston's history is written all over the neighborhood and it makes for endless options for gorgeous photos. Plus, the history geek in me just loves wandering the streets and soaking it all in.
Part Two: Public Gardens
Then we headed to the Boston Public Gardens to cap off their Boston engagement photoshoot. The gardens are beautiful with lots of gorgeous flowers and landscaping for summer - it was a great evening!
