Christina & Jordan ~ Lace Factory Wedding, Deep River, CT

Lynne Reznick

There is something truly wonderful about booking your ideal client. And Christina and Jordan were certainly that! For me, that means they are first and foremost head-over-heels in love with each other, that they are genuinely excited to take photos on their wedding day (not just hoping to get through it), and that they value family and friends more than the perfect sunny day. So when I skyped with these two when we first getting to know each other, I was instantly drawn to them and their love story and their plans for an amazing wedding day. First, they are adorable. They seek each others eyes naturally and often, and usually they fall into laughter from there. They held hands, stole kisses, and Jordan even scooped up Christina in the middle of their portraits to give her a twirl. Their love and joy was infectious and their family and friends were amazingly welcoming - making me and Brooke feel right at home like we were old friends with everyone there.

Christina and Jordan met at Springfield College when they were each accepted into the 5 year accelerated dual BS/MS, PA-C program. So you can imagine that they are both passionate and driven individuals. That means over the years they have been supporting each other long distance at times as they each pursued their career goals. Christina shared that "We became absolutely inseparable and spent every second we possibly could together, and we still do. We have been through a lot of tough times in school, going through the same rigorous course loads, without summer breaks, and the long hours of clinical rotations. But we have also made very special memories..." Needless to say, they are absolutely adorable and completely meant to be together. Congratulations and sending love to you both! XO

Sarah & Glenn ~ Essex Steam Train + Lace Factory Wedding

Lynne Reznick

It was wonderful getting to photograph the adorable Sarah and Glenn during their wedding at the Lace Factory, one my all-time facorite CT venues. And to top it off they had the ceremony at the Essex Steam Train yard and rode the train to the receptionwith their guests! It was a gorgeous fall day perfect for a train ride and the gorgeous leaves made for a beautiful backdrop for the happy couple too. Sarah and Glenn are really sweet together and naturally sought each other's eyes throughout the day.

They also planned a really special and intimate wedding with their siblings as their bridal party and their first look at Sarah's parents' home. They were gifted a bagpiper who played at their ceremony and both Sarah and Glenn's dads made lovely toasts that showed how much love they and friendship they have for each other. Congratulations Sarah & Glenn! xoxo

Jenna & John ~ Lace Factory and Essex Steam Train

Lynne Reznick

Jenna & John share a beautiful love for each other and their families and friends. They dreamt up and then brought to life a truly beautiful wedding day. The details were stunning and incredibly romantic from start to finish. They took the Essex Steam Train with all of their guests to The Lace Factory for their wedding reception full of pinks and florals and lace of course! Their wedding party was full of energy and positivity and the whole day was full of laughter and love. A huge thank you to Jasmine Balgobin of Carla Ten Eyck Studios for having me along with this wonderful couple for their special day. See Jasmine's story of Jenna & John here and then come back to see my story of their day below.

Go ahead, I'll wait... Okay, now scroll on down and enjoy!
